I really prefer to work on one project at a time and to finish one project before I start another one. Which I sometimes wonder is just my way of making an excuse to postpone doing things!? Regardless, there do seem to be a lot of projects stacking up on my work table. I've been working/not working for quite a while now on making mini Lenci-type dolls, for the gang, using push molds by Dianna Effner and paper clay. In the last couple of days, motivated by the wet weather we've been having (it seems to be easier to work with the paper clay when there is a lot of moisture in the air), I made the effort to use up the paper clay (before it dries up) and so have a plethora of tiny body parts now waiting to be trimmed .....
But meanwhile, here are the ingredients for a new outfit ..... I've had this woven ribbon for a while and have suddenly been seized by inspiration! What will it all become???? Something "Scandinavian"? Something "German"?? Stay tuned!
And, as we speak, a box containing my grand-niece's favorite baby doll (a Corolle Mon Premier), badly in need of emergency body work, is somewhere in the mail, on its way here to great-aunt's doll spa .... keep your fingers crossed that I can, indeed, help the poor baby!!! R.
