Home security

I do believe I've found a really ace security guard for my chateau .... and even better, all I have to pay him is bahnahnahs!!!!  (Not even magic bahnahnahs!)  He says his name is Kong.

Meet Kong!!  What cowardly cat would DARE come near Calcrit House with Kong keeping watch from the roof???

Of course, it can get kind of noisy when he's up there.  You know, beams creaking and such like.  But that's part of the appeal - cats hate the sound of beams creaking!

And while he's up there, I have another handyman (or should I say handyape?) job for him.  I want a wheel on the top of my chimney so that when the storks come back this spring (and heavens knows, it is high time it was spring, for goodness sake!) they will have a place to nest.

Yo! Kong!  Is it nice and secure???

Looks good, from a stork's eye view, eh?  The other great thing about Kong and his bahnahnahs is that those creepy cats hate the smell of bahnahnahs.  And if he throws the peels on the ground around the house, maybe the cats will slip on them and fall on their creepy little cat heads??!!!

Humm ..... something just crossed my mind.  You don't suppose it will bother storks having an ape sitting on the roof next to their nest, do you??  If anyone has had a similar situation, please let me know the outcome.  Ta.   Lily.
